Palazzo Ragusi was born from the desire to give new life to the historic family home. The apartment that houses the property is, in fact, on the first floor of a historic building (Palazzo Ragusi), inherited from our maternal grandfather in the middle of the last century. The “good old Uncle Gì” had in fact bought the property in the late 1800s and, having had no children, decided to donate it to his favorite nephew, our grandfather Girolamo Bongiorno.
The connection with this house has therefore lasted for more than a century: our mother was born within these walls, and thanks to her precious help and the fantastic work done by our architect dad, that we were able to give her new life. Thanks, in fact, to meticulous restoration work, the old family home has returned to shine, in a fusion of ancient and modern that we hope has created a unique and fascinating atmosphere.
In 2018 Palazzo Ragusi was born, a structure that, through the formula of short tourist rental, aims to host anyone who wants to visit Palermo, savoring some of its history already starting from the place where it stays.
We can’t wait to meet you!
